Kids on Cavitt Presents:
Set sail on our inaugural summer camp!
Ahoy mateys! Join us for a new summer acting extravaganza. Over this week-long camp, our swashbuckling crew will learn and rehearse a 35-minute musical, complete with original songs, choreography, and exciting bonus activities.
Auditions will be held the first day of camp, after actors learn a song to perform.
Camp Dates: July 13–17, 2026
9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Performances: Friday July 17, 7 p.m.
Saturday July 18, 2 p.m.
Cost: $200
Ages 7+
Tuition must be received in full to reserve your space. Non-refundable.

Meet the Director:
Katya Shaffer
Katya R. Shaffer has been involved in the Theatre World for over three decades, two of which have been in and around Pittsburgh. She holds a BA in both Theatre Performance and Scenic Design from Seton Hill University. She has acted, designed and directed for numerous theatres in the Pittsburgh area including Apple Hill Playhouse, Greensburg Civic Theatre, and most recently the Theatre Factory. She has taught theatrical classes for the Greensburg Museum of Art Summer Program, Pitt Greensburg, and Norwin Home Schoolers as well as private acting classes for ages 10 and up.
