From enchanted kingdoms and dark forests to bustling cities and dusty towns deep in the west, part of the magic of theater is the scenery that transports the audience to the setting of the play. Learn how a scenic artist builds a world with just a wall, a paintbrush, and a few gallons of paint. No painting experience necessary!

Learn to portray realistic fighting without causing your fellow actors any real harm! You'll work with a professional fight choreographer trained in many different weapons disciplines to create dynamic and visually stunning performances that tell a compelling story.

Time: 2–5 p.m.

Ages 16+

Cost: $75

Everything from a slap across the face to an epic sword fight falls under stage combat. In this workshop, you'll work with a professional fight choreographer to gain experience in both hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting.
